Amazing Marinade

Here’s a keto meal you might like. It’s very simple, only two items on this plate. And if you like chicken, this recipe will be sure to please. Not only does the marinade add so much flavor, but it also makes the meat so very tender.

To start, I took three chicken breast tenderloins and put them into a plastic container. I covered the chicken with about a quarter cup of EVOO and about two tablespoons of ACV. Then I added about a teaspoon of pink salt, fresh ground black pepper, basil, sage, oregano, chopped onions, parsley and garlic.

I mixed that well and then I covered it and put it in the fridge overnight. This morning, I took the container out and turned the meat and stirred the marinade over a couple of times.

By this afternoon it was ready to cook. I poured the entire contents of the container into a skillet on low to medium heat, making sure to not leave any of the liquid behind. As the meat was cooking, I used my fork to gently poke and mash the meat so as to assist with the tenderizing process, turning occasionally also.

While this was cooking, I put some broccoli spears in a bowl and poured a little EVOO and fresh ground pink salt over them. I put this in the microwave for 6-7 minutes. Voila! Then, I arranged both on a plate.

So how do you think this tasted?

I’m just gonna have to eat more to decide. 🤤
