Tuna Skillet Meal

This dish is delicious! Yes, I’ve already tried it and it was very tasty. I started with a small skillet heating up to medium with EVOO and two tablespoons of butter.

I added chopped onions, garlic, turmeric, pink salt/black pepper, chili powder, parsley flakes, sage and two heaping tablespoons of nutritional yeast.

Next, I folded in a cup of chopped asparagus spears, a can of white tuna and about a half cup of diced tomatoes. You could also use some mild Rotel here instead of the diced tomatoes.

Since most of these ingredients are already cooked, I simply stirred until the mixture was hot and bubbly. Maybe five or ten minutes of simmering the flavors together and it was done.

I’m finding that olive oil and/or butter and my usual spices along with some nutritional yeast yield deliciousness to just about any meat and vegetable combination. And the best part is: it’s so easy!!
